In October 2007 the Tourism Research Centre launched The Traveller's Voice - an online travel group developed to give insight into PEI's visitors. Joining the travel group is simple! Just fill out this Profiling Questionnaire. If you are admitted to the travel group you have a chance to win one of five $200 cash prizes!
What is the Traveller’s Voice?
The Traveller’s Voice is an online travel group composed of travellers who have visited Prince Edward Island on an overnight visit within the past five years. Members are periodically sent emails, (generally once per month,) inviting them to participate in the latest research study developed by the Tourism Research Centre at the University of Prince Edward Island. The results of the studies are used to measure the level of customer and visitor satisfaction. How do I join the Traveller’s Voice?
The first step to join the Traveller’s Voice is to take a brief Profiling Questionnaire. Once you complete the questionnaire you will receive an email from trc@upei.ca at the email address you provided in the questionnaire. This email contains the username and password chosen in the Profiling Questionnaire.
Why have I been rejected from the Forum?
Permanent residents of Prince Edward Island, and those under the age of 18 are not eligible to join the Traveller’s Voice.
Why don’t I receive emails even though I have successfully joined the Forum?
After you become a member of the Traveller’s Voice you will receive an email approximately every four weeks inviting you to complete a questionnaire. It is possible that since you have joined the Traveller’s Voice that a new survey has not been launched. Survey invitations are sent by "The Traveller's Voice" from noreplies@qualtrics.com. Please check your junk bin for these emails. If you have any questions or concerns contact us at trc@upei.ca and we will look into it for you.
How can I remove myself from the Traveller’s Voice?
If you wish to be removed from the travel group please email us at trc@upei.ca and we will ensure that you are removed from the group and that you will not receive any more e-mails from us. There is also a link to remove yourself from the Traveller's Voice in each email we send out. We thank you for your participation to date.
Where can I view the results of the studies?
After the study closes, it takes a bit of time to analyze the data and prepare a report on the results. As results become available, reports are generally added to the Original Research section of the TRC website. If you have any questions, or did not find the information you were looking for, please email us at trc@upei.ca with your inquiry. Please note that not all reports are available to the public if the data was collected for an external client.
